This 7 days northwest Vietnam by Mountain Bike will take you such places as : Lao Cai, Sapa, Lai Chau, Muong Lay, Phong Tho, Binh Lu, Tam Duong, Dien Bien Phu, Tuan Giao, Son La, Loc Mai, Mai Chau, Hoa Binh Province. Begin the tour with the an overnight train trip from Hanoi to Lao Cai and then uphill to Sapa, You start biking from Sapa to Tram Ton, Heaven Gate then Binh Lu, Lai Chau. 
Day 1 : Hanoi - Mai Chau 
After having breakfast we have a cycling trip about 15 Km out of Mai Chau is up Thung Nhuoi pass then we go 17 km down to Man Duc and 2 more gentle hill to Doc Cun , We take a small route to Bai Chao onto Luong Son. Our bus Pick us up and transfer to Mai Chau for Lunch . Afternoon we take some short ride around the village . Free time in the Evening, Dinner at the Local homestay. 
Distance riding : 60- 90 km 
Day 2 : Mai Chau - Son La
After breakfast leaving Mai Chau for Son La. The road passes beneath spectacular karst cliffs with the valley floor visible far below. Along the road we can stop the trip in Moc Chau for taking photos and enjoy the fresh air . Overnight in Son La.

Day 3 : Son La - Tuan Giao
Leave Son La for Tuan Giao, Son La is located in the scenic valley, inhabited by Thai, Muong and H'mong minority people. The area is historically important for its involvement in the Vietnamese struggle for independence from France during the first half the 20th Century.
Challenge 20 km winding climb up hill and 15km down hill. Nice lanscape of green rice fields and karst valley. Light traffic, wandering water buffaloes, Thais and H'mong kids. Overnight in Tuan Giao,
Distance riding : 60 km 
Day 4: Tuan Giao - Dien Bien Phu
After having breakfast we will take a easy ride through many Thais Village. Lunch will be provided in a local restaurant in Town, Take a well rest then we will cycle for the whole afternoon to visit some war sites to visit such as the A1 hills, De Castries bunker, Dien Bien Phu Museum. Stay the night in Dien Bien Phu. 
Distance riding : 70 km 
Day 5: Dien Bien Phu - Muong Lay
Check out our guesthouse and leaving for Muong Lay. After breakfast Our bus will transfer us to outskirt then we are going to have a nice day with stop over the red H'mong village then cycle up to Mathiho pass, Lunch en route, 
Distance riding : 90 km 
Day 6: Muong Lay - Lai Chau 
In the morning we will pass overther the scenic Da River from Hang Tom suspension and saying good bye to Muong Lay TownLet. Lunch will be provided en route, After lunch we will have a couple of pretty big climbs and then follow the picturesque Nam Na river into "Muang Say ( aka Old Lai Chau ). Some part of the road is bad but we will have a great view along tha Nam Na river, Late afternoon we will cycle uphill to Chan Nua and up to Lai Chau, Stay the night in Lai Chau,
Distance riding : 80 km 
Day 7: Lai Chau - Sapa 
Depart for Sapa. We're going to ride cross some villages of H'mong, "Coins " Dzao near Binh Lu then ready for the highest stretching of road in Vietnam as well as the provincial border of Lai Chau and Lao Cai Povinces. Here you will have the opportunity to view the magnificent scenery. Lunch will be provided en route. After lunch you wlll have chance to conquer the highest mountain pass OQUIHO. From there you can see the stunning views of surrounding mountains and the lush forests belonging to Hoang Lien Son National Park. 
Tour ended in Sapa
